Oppermann Associates were recently appointed as Design and Build Architects for a new business innovation centre of excellence in the UK.
Phase 1 – Building A – is currently on site and due for completion in November 2019, providing 9,500 square meters of office, laboratory and communal food and beverage as well as conference and meeting facilities across four floors.
Phase 2 – Building B- is due to commence on site in July 2019 with a completion date in the summer of 2020 providing over 8,000 square meters of office and conference facilities, again over four floors.
Scale Space Building A and B represents the mission to create the place where technology and digital businesses innovate and grow, leveraging the advantages that come from being part of Imperial College London and Blenheim Chalcot. Scale Space is creating 200,000 ft² of new business innovation space, bringing together the best research, talent and business-building expertise from Imperial College London and Blenheim Chalcot. Based inside White City Campus – Imperial’s new research and innovation district – businesses will be located at the forefront of cutting-edge research and thinking on new technologies, like AI and machine learning. Working alongside Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading digital venture builder, businesses will have access to the support they need to turn innovation into growth.
