The Malahide Marina setting will redefine opportunities for motivated professionals to exploit their creativity in an inspiring setting with ample parking, transport links and amenity space.
The shared workspace concept has grown globally from 436 spaces in 2010 to a projected 30,000 in 2021. The demand for high quality flexible space that fits with the emerging ‘GIG’ economy is projected to be 43% of the workforce by 2020.
The overall design objective is to strip out the existing restaurant fixtures, fittings and mechanical air conditioning plant with a view to utilizing all of the existing structure with minimal interventions. It is proposed to remove the central accommodation stairs and infill the floor to increase net usable space. It is proposed to retain the toilet facilities as shown and add shower and changing facilities on the ground floor within stair core 3 located across the bridge. Secure bicycle storage will be provided.
The project is due to commence in the summer of 2019 with a target opening in January 2020.
