This 1940s semi-d on Ramleh Park in Milltown was stripped back to four walls.
The entire house was remodelled and renovated, and single- and two-storey extensions were added to the rear and side respectively. The imposing double-height entrance hall with polished concrete floor leads from the two front reception rooms past the floating hardwood and glass staircase.
From there you move into the kitchen/living room/dining room with vaulted roof designed to scoop south light through a clerestorey window. There is also a utility room off the kitchen and a generous WC on the ground floor.
The impressive proportions are continued to the first floor with a luxurious dual-aspect principal bedroom with ensuite bathroom.
A Studio was also constructed at the end of the garden with a covered veranda positioned to take advantage of evening light.
This project completed in 2018.
