The sod was turned on the new extension to the Beaufort College Post Primary school in Navan recently by Minister Damien English, together with TDs Shane Cassells and Peadar Toibin.
This project consists of a new two storey extension to the existing Post Primary School, a Sports Hall and 6 No. ball courts. The School Extension will be approximately 2,450 sq.m. and will allow for the expansion of the Post-Leaving Certificate courses on offer in the school, as well as providing extra Classrooms, state-of-the-art Science Room, Lecture Rooms, and a dedicated Home School Liaison Room.
The Sports Hall will be approximately 1,120 sq.m.
The contract was awarded to Ganson Building and Civil Engineering Contractors Limited and is due to complete in September 2017.
